Supper Tonight

I love to cook. This goes hand-in-hand with my love of eating! At the grocery this morning I saw a turkey roast and immediately thought: HOT BROWN. If you've never heard of it, it's like a cheesy, open-faced turkey sandwich and was made legendary by the Brown Hotel in Louisville, KY.

Addict

I admit it. I am addicted to NBA2K12. I resisted. I really did. I have Skyrim and it is AMAZING. But there is something about the My Player mode in NBA2K12 that keeps me coming back for hours. Although a sports game, the My Player mode mixes in RPG components that make it a compelling hybrid.

Tonight Tonight

Went out with my sweetie tonight. After a a little shopping we went out to eat. Nothing fancy, just Olive Garden. Then more shopping. Then capped it off by seeing Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows. We both liked it. To me, it felt like even the action sequences were slow. But overall, I enjoyed it.

You would think that after 2 hours of shopping I could cross some names of my Xmas list. And you would be wrong. I managed to purchase 1 item: a sweater, for myself. So I still have 2 nieces, 2 nephews, 2 sisters, 1 girlfriend and 1 mother to shop for!

Messin with things

Wow. I've had this site up all of an hour and a half and already started adding customizations. While a new theme is certainly in order (no offense to everyone else rocking this layout) first up: a twitter roll. That's right, you can follow me on Twitter (@gobwash) but my most recent tweets will show up right over there on the right.

Pretty cool, huh?

It starts with this...

So it starts with these words right here. At the start of a new day, I start my new blog. I don't really have a supreme plan for what this site will contain. I intend to just use it and see where it goes. I will post entries about things that interest me. I will share my unadulterated opinion. I will share links to websites I find interesting or funny.

Before I get going, I want to thank Raymond Camden (et al) for their work on the open source project BlogCFC, the engine behind this site. Hopefully, I can learn a thing or two and become a better Coldfusion developer by using this engine and delving into it's code depths.

With that, this is The Way I See It...
